Janelle Green is a native of Charleston, South Carolina and a proud member of the Gullah Geechee community known as "Jack Primus". She received her B.A. from the historically Black Claflin University, where she double-majored in African American Studies and Philosophy, with a minor in Marketing. She is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in the Social Sciences with a focus in Anthropology. In her free time, Janelle can be found cooking, playing the piano, and singing.
